Lucky Chinatown Mall

by Benson on

Lucky Chinatown is a 5 hectare development of Megaworld Corporation at the heart of China Town. It is home to 62,060.77 square meter commercial complex and two residential towers. This development property sits in the middle of the busiest and most crowded place in Manila which is Divisoria. The vicinity is home of Manila’s wholesale and retail trade, and street and flea market.

Ironically, Lucky Chinatown Mall boasts of having the top of the line retail establishments and food establishment which is not usual in the area. Establishments of the same caliber are normally found in Makati and San Juan where upscale communities are predominantly resides. The mall has 5 levels of shopping area and 5 levels of parking area (1000 parking slots). The mall also has a supermarket anchor to cater to the residential needs in the vicinity. The mall is indeed a refreshing place to hang out and stay away from the busy and crowded activities around its neighborhood.

Going to the mall is also very accessible through LRT-1 and LRT-2. For LRT-1, going down from either Carriedo, Doroteo Jose or Bambang Station is just a jeep ride away from the station. Same with the LRT-2 line, from Recto Station, it’ll be a jeep ride away to the mall. The route going to place is the same as going to Divisoria. Taxi cabs around the metro will also be able to help in navigating the busy place. However for buses around the metro, currently there are no buses who go inside Divisoria. The nearest places where the buses will dock is in Lawton, which is near Intramuros and Sta. Cruz, which at the end of Ongpin Street. Buses also stop by in Quiapo but will take more time navigating from Quiapo to the place. Riding the jeep is the easiest way to go to the area. Just ride the jeep with the Divisoria signage and the jeep will dock in the area.
